Forming an outer conductor that does not develop wrinkles even when bent! A flexible waveguide incorporating traditional braiding techniques.
The "flexible waveguide" can achieve high-reliability wired 5G and beyond 5G high-speed communication. Conventional general metal waveguides are heavy and difficult to bend freely, resulting in significantly poor workability. Therefore, utilizing Japan's traditional braiding technique, we developed a lightweight and flexible waveguide with a low dielectric loss dielectric material as the core and a thin metal layer on the outside.
