The "TM AI COBOT" is a collaborative robot equipped with a smart vision system (camera). While traditional robots required a "positioning mechanism" to place workpieces in designated locations, this product eliminates the need for such a mechanism thanks to the integrated smart vision system, allowing the robot itself to check and recognize the workpieces. Additionally, the combination of the robot and camera system used to take time to set up, but since they are integrated, the configuration can be done easily. The camera is also equipped with AI, enabling it to learn and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, contributing to increased productivity and reduced workload for everyone. Our collaborative robot, the "Techman Robot," is characterized by its ability to easily perform planar positioning using a high-performance 2.5D camera. One of the distinctive features of the camera function in the "Techman Robot" is the landmark alignment function. This allows the robot to automatically align its position by reading a designated design mark, or landmark, with the camera. Since collaborative robots do not require safety fences, they can move between multiple work sites. However, models without cameras require the cumbersome process of re-teaching the origin position. The "Techman Robot," which comes standard with a camera, can automatically correct its position by reading the landmarks set up at each site, enabling it to instantly adapt to different tasks. Our collaborative robot, "Techman Robot," is characterized by its ability to easily perform planar positioning using a high-performance 2.5D camera. Additionally, the "Techman Robot" comes standard with a contact detection function, allowing the robot itself to perform depth positioning, achieving three-dimensional positioning. Previous robots required a cutting mechanism to ensure that the next workpiece came to the same location in order to pick up stacked workpieces, as they moved to pre-programmed coordinates. With the "Techman Robot," by effectively utilizing the contact function, it is now possible to control the robot to pick up the workpiece after making contact, eliminating the need for a cutting mechanism and achieving high reusability.
