TEC Fiber <Local Heating Technology>
Available for use with commercially available SI-type SMF! A technology that locally diffuses heat in the core of optical fibers.
"TEC Fiber" is a common name for Thermally-diffused Expanded Core Fiber. It locally expands the mode field diameter by 2 to 3 times (changing the refractive index distribution), resulting in a smaller NA (numerical aperture). Additionally, it broadens the tolerance range for axis misalignment and gaps, reducing connection loss, and allows for minimal changes in cladding diameter, making it possible to insert into ferrules and create connectors. 【Other Fiber Optic Processing】 ■ MFD Conversion Fiber (PMF compatible) ■ Tapering ■ Etching ■ FBG Sensors (Direct writing method with short pulse lasers) ■ Connector processing and cable processing ■ Various measurements including NFP/FFP *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
