[Plotter Processing Example] Large Diameter C5 Chamfering Processing

Examples of NBR (nitrile rubber) processing characterized by high oil resistance, abrasion resistance, and mechanical strength!

We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured a large diameter ring with an outer diameter of φ732mm and an inner diameter of φ672mm from a 15mm thick NBR rubber sheet based on the customer's CAD data. The processing involved cutting the ring to the inner and outer diameters, as well as applying a C5 chamfer to the outer circumference. Using our plotter processing machine (with router functionality), we completed the cutting of thick rubber and the chamfering process in one machine. Our company has been processing and selling gaskets, packing, and industrial products for over 45 years. We utilize various processing machines, including one of Japan's largest water jets (high-pressure cutting machines), plotters, and press processing, to propose products to our customers.
