The pin foundation is a foundational construction method that protects important natural environments (registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism NETIS).
■Optimal New Foundation Method for Protecting the Natural Environment
The Pin Foundation is a foundation method designed for small-scale structures such as boardwalks, bridges, and pavilions.
Traditional concrete foundation methods typically involve significant excavation of the ground and the transportation of foundation blocks using heavy machinery. In contrast, the Pin Foundation method does not require heavy machinery and does not necessitate large-scale excavation of the ground surface.
This method is ideal for foundations in locations where heavy machinery cannot be brought in or in areas where it is important to protect the natural environment. It is also suitable for weak ground conditions (equivalent N value of 0.5 to 2.0) where conventional methods cannot be applied.
This method is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's New Technology Information System (NETIS).
