Two types are lined up: SW-CFRP rolls and SW-GFRP rolls.
Our unique pipe manufacturing technology, known as the SW (Sheet Winding) method (a molding technique that layers prepreg sheets and heats and cures them), produces composite materials with various characteristics as mentioned above. - SW-CFRP rolls are made of carbon fiber, making them lightweight, low inertia, and suitable for ultra-high-speed rotation. With a high longitudinal elastic modulus, they exhibit minimal deflection and can achieve greater rigidity than metal rolls, allowing for smaller diameter rolls and contributing to space-saving designs. - SW-GFRP rolls are made of fiberglass and are suitable for rolls that require relatively low rigidity or for insulation applications that leverage the properties of FRP.
