3-MPS Soda (3-Mercapto-1-propanesulfonic acid sodium) is a chemical product with significantly reduced odor compared to other mercaptans. It exhibits performance as a rust prevention and removal agent for metals. It can be used as a polymerization regulator in the radical polymerization of water-soluble vinyl monomers.
