A catheter is a thin tube used in medical applications that is inserted into the body. In next-generation catheters, the number of signal lines has increased, presenting a challenge as conventional ultra-fine wire cables cannot fit within the catheter. Our company has addressed this challenge by developing a low-resistance, long-length FPC for catheters. By using FPC, it becomes possible to accommodate many signal lines within the catheter.
