Thin material processing (thin-walled case machining)

This is an example of a thin-walled aluminum case manufactured through cutting processing. This product has a very thin wall with an inner and outer diameter difference of 2mm and a thickness of 2mm, making it a challenging shape that is prone to warping and distortion depending on the workholding method during processing. Our company used air chucks and specialized jigs instead of hydraulic methods to process it without causing warping or distortion. We can also propose the optimal jigs and processing methods according to customer specifications such as surface roughness and tolerances.
