Vespel (R) is a polyimide (PI) resin from DuPont. The representative grade SP-1 can withstand continuous use temperatures of 300°C and intermittent temperatures of 480°C, offering excellent dimensional stability and electrical insulation at high temperatures. Its greatest feature is the ability to choose from different grades with varying fillers according to the application. KIRIURI.COM offers unfilled SP-1, graphite-reinforced SP-21, SP-22, SP-211, vacuum-grade SP-3, and plasma-resistant and chemical-resistant SCP-5000 series (SCP-5000/5009/5050/50094), with round rods available in 122 sizes (φ6.3 to φ152.4).
