Steel surface treatment agent / Alkaline chemical treatment black dye BC-001
Beautiful rust-resistant surface treatment method / Steel blackening agent / Alkaline chemical treatment agent
■ What is Black Oxidation? Black oxidation treatment is a process that forcibly oxidizes the surface of steel components in an alkaline bath to create a film of magnetite (Fe₃O₄) with a thickness of 1 to 3 μm. This film not only has a beautiful black color, providing aesthetic effects for decorative purposes, but also exhibits excellent rust prevention properties. Black oxidation treatment can be performed relatively easily, making it widely used across various fields. ■ Features The rust prevention effect of the film is superior to that of zinc or nickel plating and is comparable to cadmium plating. The film is thin, at 1 to 3 μm, and is generated by reacting with the base metal, eliminating concerns about peeling. It can withstand temperatures of up to approximately 400°C.
