Metal 3D Printer: 3D Printing of Copper

Our company can create copper (pure copper and copper alloys) using metal 3D printers!

Copper is widely used in electrical components and heat exchange parts due to its excellent conductivity of heat and electricity, and sometimes shapes with internal flow paths are required. Due to its high thermal conductivity, the heat provided by a beam dissipates instantly, making it considered a difficult material to apply in metal 3D printing. At JAMPT, we successfully adjusted the fabrication parameters in an electron beam metal 3D printer to achieve the fabrication of pure copper. In metal 3D printing, it is also possible to achieve integrated fabrication without the need for brazing. 【Features】 ■ Adjust fabrication parameters according to the material ■ Successful fabrication of pure copper using an electron beam 3D printer ■ Integrated fabrication without the need for brazing is possible ■ Short delivery times are achievable 【Examples of copper products that can be fabricated by metal 3D printers】 ■ High-frequency hardening coils (pure copper, copper alloys) ■ Busbars and switching terminals (pure copper, copper alloys) ■ Heat sinks and heat exchangers (pure copper, copper alloys) Please feel free to contact us for prototypes, delivery times, estimates, or any questions.

"Case Studies of Problem Solving with Metal 3D Printers" *Materials Provided*

Introducing examples of tooling that successfully improved productivity in the metal 3D manufacturing line. Also includes case studies of reverse engineering for automotive parts.

This document introduces examples of tooling made with titanium alloys and cases of reverse engineering for automotive parts. Metal 3D printers that can create complex shapes without the need for molds. They generate minimal waste material and help reduce material costs, enabling the use of high-performance materials that were previously not used (or could not be used) for weight reduction and strength enhancement. We present problem-solving examples that leverage the features of metal 3D printers. 【Recommended for those with the following concerns】 ■ Want to reduce the weight of tooling used in the manufacturing line ■ Struggling with the high frequency of tooling replacements ■ Want to use more high-performance materials while keeping costs down ■ Need to manufacture parts without drawing data in a short period of time *This document can be viewed via "PDF Download." Please feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Product Design, Product Development, and Design of Resin Products

We are engaged in product design, product development, and design of resin products. We have consulted on the modeling from prototypes to final products.

We spoke with Mr. Sakaitani from Asmo Co., Ltd., a group company of Soft99 Corporation, which manufactures and sells automotive and household chemical products. The Panax Division of Asmo Co., Ltd. plays a role in the innovative product development of its parent company, Soft99 Corporation, which continually surprises the market. They are involved in product design, development, and engineering of resin products. They consulted with DMM.make for the modeling from prototypes to final products. ■ Use Cases They utilize 3D CAD data for a wide range of applications, including extrusion molding, casting, machining, injection molding, and as alternative methods for molds and formwork, as well as for molding small parts of IoT products and finished goods.

[Consultation Case for Metal 3D Printing] Production of Molds for Rubber Molding

To manufacture a wide variety of molds in a short delivery time! Implementing proposals for material changes, etc.

We would like to introduce a case study from a production technology representative of a high-performance rubber parts manufacturer. The challenge was to shorten the prototype period for new orders and improve the order rate, with requests such as "wanting to maintain durability while reducing costs." To reduce costs, we proposed changes in shape and materials, resulting in an outcome beyond expectations, with favorable test results. 【Case Overview (Partial)】 ■Challenge - Shorten the prototype period for new orders and improve the order rate ■Requests - Manufacture a variety of molds in a short time - Maintain durability while reducing costs - Switch from outsourcing mold production to in-house management *Detailed information about the case can be viewed through the related links. For more details, please feel free to contact us.
