[BIM Software Implementation Case] Oslo Airport Terminal 2
Harnessing the power of Open BIM! Introducing examples where everything except analysis was done using Tekla Structures.
Oslo Airport's Terminal 2 is a massive construction project involving over 100 affiliated companies, which must ensure safety and airport security on a daily basis while smoothly and reliably carrying out regular operations. This has posed a challenge for Aas-Jakobsen, the main structural engineer. The project required smooth collaboration with the airport management company, Avinor, and end clients, necessitating modeling by the affiliated companies. After trying several software solutions, Avinor decided to adopt "Tekla Structures" for this project. By using the Tekla Structures model for visualization, the creation of reinforced concrete, generation of documentation, and scheduling have become easier, and the model has also been beneficial to the affiliated companies. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
