Structural design is carried out entirely based on BIM! We will introduce a case that achieved the management of a vast amount of data.

The new wastewater treatment facility being constructed in Blominmäki, Espoo, Finland, has a high processing capacity and can remove 99% of phosphorus from water. This facility, which has buildings and storage tanks installed on a site of over 10 hectares, utilizes Nordic construction methods for underground excavation. The project is diverse and presents many challenges, while also featuring a very interesting design. The biggest challenge has been managing the vast amount of data handled in the project. The design employs numerous modeling software, including "Tekla Structures" and "Trimble Connect."
