This small DC brushless motor can achieve high-speed rotation of up to 12,000 rpm, making it ideal for small pumps and small stirrers. A pump (Dutch: pomp) is a machine used to draw up or send liquids or gases by the action of pressure. It is a type of fluid machinery that generates a pressure difference using mechanical energy and converts it into the kinetic energy of liquids or gases. It is also referred to as a "suction cylinder." The heart of an animal is also a type of pump. Additionally, the term "pump" may be applied to mechanisms that serve the purpose of energy accumulation or transfer, similar to mechanical pumps (such as heat pumps). Pumps can be classified based on their operating principles into non-positive displacement, positive displacement, and special types. Non-positive displacement (turbine) pumps use a rotor with blades. Positive displacement pumps apply pressure through rotating components. Special pumps are those that do not fall into the above categories. Examples of non-positive displacement (turbine) pumps include: volute pumps, diffuser pumps, cascade pumps, axial flow pumps, mixed flow pumps, volute mixed flow pumps, and diffuser mixed flow pumps.
