What is super engineering plastic?

Commonly known as super engineering plastics! Some can be used in environments exceeding 150°C!

"Super Engineering Plastics" often have higher heat resistance and mechanical strength compared to general-purpose plastics and engineering plastics, making them suitable for use in environments exceeding 150°C, and some have high steam resistance. The price is also significantly higher, about 100 times more than general-purpose plastics. They are used in medical devices, high-temperature electrical products, and in the aerospace and space industries. [Features] - High heat resistance and mechanical strength - Usable in environments exceeding 150°C - Some have high steam resistance - Contain benzene rings in their molecular chains *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

MC703HL (Sliding Grade)

Special lubricants were added to MC901, further enhancing its sliding performance and wear resistance.

Features 1. Prevention of Stick-Slip Compared to the basic grade MC901, the sliding performance has been further improved. This product is suitable for addressing issues such as machines not moving smoothly and vibrations occurring. 2. Low Friction Coefficient While the basic grade MC901 is one of the materials with a low friction coefficient among engineering plastics, MC703HL enhances this characteristic even further. 3. Excellent Wear Resistance Not only does it have a low friction coefficient, but it also exhibits very excellent wear resistance among engineering plastics. Warning - To comply with the Food Sanitation Act, please use it after immersing in boiling water for 2.0 hours. - Do not use for applications related to fatty foods. Caution - Nylon has water absorption properties and dimensions may increase, so please refer to our "MC Nylon® Technical Data" and take sufficient care during design. Examples of Applications ● Sliding Performance (Low Friction Coefficient) ● Wear Resistance Slide plates for cranes, valve seats, guides, cams ● Possible to operate without lubrication: gears, rollers, bearings

Introduction to PEEK

Introduction to PEEK

PEEK is a super engineering plastic that has uniformly high performance and is widely used in the aerospace field and the automotive industry. It excels in heat resistance, strength, chemical resistance, dimensional stability, flame retardancy, and lubricity, but it is also expensive, so as long as care is taken not to be over-specified, it is a very useful material.

【English Market Research Report】Global Market for PA 66/6

"Free samples" are currently being offered! Please check the application method from the [PDF download] button, or apply directly from the related links.

The global market size for PA 66/6 was valued at 32.6 billion USD in 2022 and is projected to grow from 34.69 billion USD in 2023 to 56.98 billion USD by 2031, with a CAGR of 6.40% during the forecast period (2024-2031). Polyamide 6 (PA6) boasts a diverse range of physical and chemical properties suitable for various applications, with approximately 6.6 million tons produced globally, accounting for about 60% of the world's polyamide production. PA 66, which corresponds to this polyamide, is widely used in the automotive, plastics, and textiles segments. A notable difference from PA 6 is its greater molding shrinkage capability and improved heat resistance due to its more crystalline structure. These differences in properties make it widely utilized in applications requiring high-performance polymers, such as battery modules, friction bearings, conveyor belts, and luggage.

【Basic Knowledge】Excellent Compatibility with Lepco Mica! Engineering Plastics 【Flaky Filler】

Excellent compatibility with Repcomica! Engineering Plastics Edition

Plastics that are primarily used industrially. Compared to general-purpose plastics, they have superior mechanical strength and heat resistance, making them suitable for industrial components. The definition of engineering plastics (also known as "Enpla") is not very clear, but it is said to have: Tensile strength: 500 kgf/cm² (49 MPa) or more Flexural modulus: 20,000 kgf/cm² (1,960 MPa) or more Heat resistance: 100°C or more Among engineering plastics, five commonly used types are referred to as the "five major engineering plastics." PA (Polyamide): Often referred to by the DuPont trademark "Nylon." PC (Polycarbonate) Polyester (PBT, PET) POM (Polyacetal): Polyoxymethylene Modified PPE (Modified Polyphenylene Ether) *We handle various sizes and grades of mica products, focusing on gold mica (S grade) and white mica (M grade). Mica has good compatibility with various materials such as plastic resins, paints, rubber, films, sealing materials, and adhesives.
