A "microgrid" is a power network that smoothly, stably, and economically supplies electricity generated from decentralized power sources such as local renewable energy generation facilities, cogeneration, and energy storage systems to local consumers through an Energy Management System (EMS). By effectively utilizing decentralized power sources during normal times and building a model of an energy system that can independently supply power during large-scale outages caused by disasters, we contribute to the spread of renewable energy, local business continuity planning (BCP) measures, and the revitalization of the local economy.
