At Raw Material Manufacturing Company N, the introduction of the microbubble generation device "YJ Nozzle" has achieved the elimination of odors, reduction of BOD, decrease in chemical dosing, and volume reduction of flocculated sludge and excess sludge in wastewater treatment facilities. The modification involved installing one unit of the microbubble generation device YJ Nozzle "YJ-15" (0.75 kW submersible pump) in both the raw water tank and the adjustment tank. As a result, the long-standing issue of odors was completely resolved in just one day after the installation of the microbubble YJ Nozzle. Additionally, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism adopted the microbubble generation device for the Onga River Estuary Water Quality Conservation Project. To purify a water area measuring 400 meters wide and 1200 meters long, the microbubble "YJ Nozzle" was installed. Consequently, successful suppression of algal blooms and the occurrence of unpleasant odors and tastes was achieved. Before the improvements, it was thought that the introduction of an ozone advanced water treatment facility, which would require a huge investment, was necessary for the water supply facility drawing from this intake, but currently, that need has been eliminated. We solved the customer's problem of poor sediment separation due to the proliferation of algae in the sedimentation tank (especially the drainage channel) with the YJ nozzle.

Case study of wastewater treatment in an electronics-related factory! The customer was struggling with poor sedimentation separation due to algal blooms in the sedimentation tank (especially in the drainage channel), but we were able to solve this issue using the YJ nozzle. This factory has two sedimentation tanks, and we installed the micro-nano bubble generation device "YJ nozzle" in only one of them (the left side below) to compare the conditions of both sedimentation tanks. Research on microbubbles began in 1992 when oysters in Hiroshima were on the verge of extinction due to red tide. A professor from Tokuyama National College of Technology generated microbubbles in seawater, which helped the oysters recover, leading to further research. Since then, it has gained attention for reducing propulsion resistance caused by bubble generation on ship hulls and for the coexistence of marine and freshwater fish at the Aichi Expo.
