Procedures for measurement in high concentration environments (such as oil mist environments).

The important point is to keep the flow going and discharge it outside!

Our counter has a counting error (count loss) of 15,000,000 CFM (cubic feet per minute = 28.3L) within 10%. This allows for high concentration measurements, meaning it can distinguish between high and low count values. However, counting means that high concentrations of foreign substances and mist will enter the flow path (optical sensor, tube, pump). Therefore, we will guide you on how to measure without damaging the particle counter. 【Measurement Method】 ■ Set up sampling 1. Set sample time to 6 seconds 2. Set hold time to 5 seconds 3. Set cycles to 10 4. Before measurement, attach the purge filter and confirm zero count 5. After starting the measurement, once the third count of the target measurement cycles is completed, attach the purge filter to the inlet 6. If the final screen at the end of the measurement does not approach zero count, restart the measurement as is until the count value approaches zero *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Data] Particle Counter and Large Particles

The ISO cleanliness level is clear! But why is the work surface contaminated? We will answer that.

This document introduces particle counters and large particles. It addresses the question, "Are there no large particles in clean rooms?" as well as issues such as "Is it just that they are not being measured?" and includes references on gravitational settling, the particle size of contaminants that should be managed (e.g., thin films, laminating, painting processes), among others. It responds to the misconception that particle counters can handle everything from small to large particle sizes. [Contents] ■ Are there no large particles in clean rooms? ■ Is it just that they are not being measured? ■ Reference 1: What about the gravitational settling of particles? ■ Reference 2: What particle sizes of contaminants should be managed? (e.g., thin films, laminating, painting processes) ■ Reference 3: Real-time mode = seeing what is happening right in front of you *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Considerations on Particle Sedimentation

We will introduce a discussion on the settling distance and time based on particle size!

This document presents considerations on particle settling. It includes information on the settling distance of particles per unit time and calculated values for settling distances. We have provided clear explanations using graphs and tables, so please take a look. However, this is only an example concerning solid particles. Droplets are excluded due to their significant interaction with the environment. [Contents] ■ Calculated values for particle settling distance per unit time - Settling time in the vertical direction can be calculated by particle size (in other words, the time they remain suspended) - Gravitational settling velocity of fine particles *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
