[Case Study] Automation of Assembly Processes
Stable quantity assurance is possible! Introducing a case study on the implementation of "automation in the assembly process."
We would like to introduce a case where "automation of the assembly process" was implemented on a line where multiple parts were assembled by different operators using ultrasonic welding. Since each task leading up to the assembly was carried out separately by designated workers, it negatively impacted labor costs. As a solution, we improved the process so that all four steps could be consistently assembled by automated machines. The configuration allows for production at approximately 3 seconds per unit, achieving a speed more than ten times faster than manual assembly. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Negative impact on labor costs ■Results - Cost reduction - Stable quantity assurance possible *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
