This is an example of a machine for structural analysis (motion analysis) using CAE software "RecurDyn."
In the design of machine systems, which are assemblies of components, it is necessary to evaluate not only the individual components but also the interactions between components that change during operation. This is a consultation case from a customer involved in research and development in the field of mechanical engineering.
The software being used includes "RecurDyn" and "Matlab." The customer expressed a preference for high computational speed and optimization of the number of cores for SMP (symmetric multiprocessing).
After investigating SMP parallel processing, it was determined that a maximum of 16 cores is optimal for "8-core and 16-core parallel processing (SMP)," and we proposed the "Core i9-12900K" with a configuration of 8 high-performance cores and 8 high-efficiency cores. Additionally, since the customer plans to conduct big data analysis using Matlab, we ensured the expandability of the storage.
