Load the parts list by file and organize it by material and plate thickness. It reduces the input effort from comparing the required quantities to the cutting diagram.
Transfer the bill of materials in Excel directly to board cutting calculations without entering each cell individually. The Excel-compatible version of CutPlan allows you to select an Excel file, review the contents, and then apply them all at once. Input the "part name, material, plate thickness, width, length, and quantity" into the designated Excel file and load the saved file. Parts with the same material and plate thickness are automatically grouped. If the material or plate thickness is left blank, a common value can be specified once. By checking the available standard lengths, leftover materials, and cutting conditions, you can calculate and compare the required quantities, yield, and material costs. The selected cutting diagram supports black-and-white printing and PDF saving. The Excel-compatible version comes with a fillable Excel template and a manual.
