Single-frequency VECSEL laser "VALO series"
Covers 350 to 2150 nm. High-power, sub-kHz narrow linewidth laser for AMO physics research.
**Features** - Supports a wide wavelength range from 350 to 2150 nm (SF: 700 to 2150 nm / SHG: 350 to 800 nm) - Mode-hop-free scanning with a maximum of 15 GHz and a TEM00 beam with M² < 1.1 - Optional phase modulation via an EOM inside the resonator (bandwidth 1 MHz) - Power stability of less than 0.5% RMS over 8 hours, optical SNR exceeding 100 dB The "VALO series" is a single-frequency VECSEL laser developed with the experimental fields of atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics in mind. It covers a vast wavelength range from ultraviolet to visible and near-infrared, making it a flexible laser platform for replacing existing light sources or reconfiguring experimental setups. In addition to the "VALO SF," which directly oscillates to cover the near-infrared to visible long wavelength range, the lineup includes the "VALO SHG," which integrates seed, amplification, and second harmonic generation in a "3-in-1" configuration. The SHG model exhibits unparalleled high output in the ultraviolet to visible range and can also extract the fundamental wave as a secondary output. It demonstrates its true value in experiments requiring precise manipulation of atoms and ions, such as laser cooling, excitation of Rydberg transitions, optical trapping, and optical clock transitions.
