[Mirror Introduction Case] Understanding the behavior of facility residents with mirrors!

For crime prevention and accident prevention! The ability to understand the behavior of residents and improve collaboration among staff members (Kusunoki Special Nursing Home).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at the special nursing home Kusunoki. In this facility, mirrors are used as a safety measure for the residents. For example, when a resident experiences a sudden change in condition, such as a fall or dizziness, staff can quickly respond if they are monitoring with the mirrors. Additionally, it allows staff to confirm that residents who need assistance or have a desire to go home do not exit alone when the elevator doors open. "We find it helpful for monitoring the wandering behavior of residents with insomnia at night. During times when staff numbers are limited, we feel we couldn't manage without the mirrors," was the feedback we received.
