NKK's challenge with switches, which has lasted for over 65 years, has created more than 3,000,000 variations and provided everyone with a man-machine interface. Today, NKK switches are active in all industrial fields, from space satellite equipment to computers, FA automation equipment, aviation, railways, ships, medical, disaster prevention, control equipment, construction, mobile communications, and amusement. Not only domestically but also internationally, we have built a foundation for technical evaluation as "NKK of switches" and "NKK of quality." We will continue to create innovative products with a sincere research system. We aim to be a differentiated company that earns the trust and admiration of our customers, rather than simply expanding our business.
Business Activities
We started as a specialized company aimed at the manufacturing and sales of switches and their peripheral devices for industrial equipment, aspiring to create innovative technology and high quality while maintaining a well-structured product lineup. We named ourselves NKK Switches Co., Ltd. to become the top manufacturer in the switch industry in our country. Since then, with the tremendous support of everyone, we have been known as "NKK of Switches," and we are now widely appreciated not only in Japan but also in various countries around the world, including Europe and the United States. On April 1, 2014, in order to evolve further as a global company, we unified the group name to "NKK SWITCHES" and changed our company name to "NKK Switches Co., Ltd." Today, NKK switches are used across a wide range of industries, from satellite equipment to computers, amusement and broadcasting audio equipment, FA automation equipment, aerospace, railways, ships, medical devices, disaster prevention, control equipment, construction, mobile communications, and more.
