At our headquarters in Germany, we provide excellent know-how and plasma devices tailored to applications, developing the world's first technology for inline plasma treatment. We have achieved success as a solution for bonding automotive headlamps and reducing costs, and we have since built a track record in various industries, including electronics, medical, and automotive. In 2001, we established a subsidiary in Japan, offering solutions for processing processes tailored to our customers using plasma surface treatment technology. We collaborate with the overseas bases of the PlasmaTreat Group to support our global customers from implementation to aftercare. Business Activities
The Plasma Group, which manufactures plasma devices capable of surface treatment under atmospheric pressure and conducts research and development of applications using atmospheric pressure plasma devices, has offices in 19 locations across 12 countries and provides robust support in 30 countries, including through agents. They can offer installation support and aftercare even when the development and manufacturing bases are in different locations. Our atmospheric pressure plasma devices feature improved surface polarity even for general-purpose plastics, significantly enhancing surface modification wettability. Plasma can be generated using compressed air and electricity, and due to the absence of ozone, integration into existing inline systems is straightforward. Additionally, because the process is dry, continuous processing is possible after surface treatment, leading to improvements in cycle time and cost reductions through the substitution of solvents and automation. We have successfully developed nano-coatings utilizing plasma technology, allowing for CVD treatments under atmospheric pressure for various applications such as rust prevention, adhesion promotion, and joining dissimilar materials. This technology enables continuous processing to the next step without a drying process due to its dry nature.
