Limestone is undoubtedly a fundamental resource in various business sectors, particularly in agriculture and industry. Our company began the development of the limestone layer at Iwasuzuyama during World War II, and for over sixty years, we have established our base in "Sakei," known as the birthplace of the famous monk Ryosen Sanzo, and a renowned site for fine water along the old Nakasendo road. We have also defined our company name as "Sakei Industrial Co., Ltd." and have continued to grow and evolve to this day. Japan, often referred to as a resource-poor nation, is actually a treasure trove of high-quality and abundant limestone. This is also the reason why limestone became a designated resource under the Mining Act after the war, and we take pride in the significant contributions we make to society and national interests as those engaged in the limestone industry. The applications of limestone are extremely broad, and as the agricultural, industrial, civil engineering, and chemical sectors have advanced, our business scope has gradually expanded as well. We have extended our operations from manufacturing involving crushing, mixing, and special processing to the development of agricultural seedling cultivation soil and road paving materials.
