At Actron, we have developed a flatness measurement device that is simple, inexpensive, and capable of high-speed, high-precision measurements. By using a switch probe for contact measurement, we can easily and quickly measure a variety of objects with high precision. Measurement errors due to the surface condition of the objects are eliminated by implementing our contact measurement method. It allows for measurement and pass/fail judgment, and the data is automatically registered on the inspection sheet. The introduction of the switch probe in the probe head has enabled high-precision measurements, which have been very well received by our customers. In conventional laser displacement sensor (non-contact) measurements, each measurement target was assessed point by point, and the method lacked reliability due to the influence of the object's surface condition and gloss. Our "Haitron" is a device that can obtain high-precision data in a short time.

• Other measurement, recording and measuring instruments

The measurement time is less than one second due to simultaneous measurement of all points in the target area. Data can be obtained without being affected by the material, surface condition, gloss, etc., of the target surface. A patent is currently pending. It was also featured in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (April 15, 2005). It received the Excellence Award at the Kanagawa Business Audition 2005.
