The IP series is a small push-button switch from the French company APEM. It has a proven track record in outdoor applications with an IP67 rating. There are many options for colorful plunger variations in nine colors, as well as round and square shapes and designs. There is also a lighted type available with a choice of four LED colors. The mechanical lifespan, which has a solid tactile feel, is 1 million cycles (the electrical lifespan for the momentary type is 500,000 cycles at maximum load). Circuit characteristics can be selected from momentary (normally open, a combination of normally open and closed) and alternate (OFF-ON). By adding a separately sold silicone boot, it can achieve an IP69K rating.
