On October 1, 2015, Hosei Kogyo Co., Ltd. merged with Janome Die Casting Co., Ltd., a group company of Janome Sewing Machine Co., Ltd., and the company name was changed to Janome Die Casting Co., Ltd. Kansai Plant. The purpose of the merger is as follows: Janome Die Casting Co., Ltd., which has a production base in the Kanto region, has been expanding its orders nationwide, centered in Kanto, with a consistent production system from prototyping to mass production, leveraging its excellent gypsum casting technology and die casting and machining technology. On the other hand, the former Hosei Kogyo Co., Ltd., which has a production base in Kansai, has been increasing orders primarily in Western Japan with a consistent production system from prototyping to mass production, utilizing unique casting technologies such as simple die casting and undercut die casting. By merging these two companies, we are confident that we can promote efficient production in suitable locations and further enhance our ability to meet customer satisfaction. Although the company name will change, the business will continue as is, and we kindly ask for your continued patronage.
