However, with the development of multi-slice Stereo PIV technology in FtrTSPIV, the data volume has been reduced by more than one order of magnitude compared to conventional TomoPIV, and the analysis speed has increased by more than one order of magnitude. It also exhibits performance that surpasses conventional TomoPIV in terms of analysis accuracy and stability. ■ User-friendly system integration "Tomographic Stereo PIV" is software developed for comfortable full-volume measurement. After the reconstruction of the three-dimensional brightness distribution and the generation of the back-projected images for Stereo PIV, Stereo PIV is performed on the back-projected images using the fluid image analysis software "FtrPIV." PIA (Particle Image Analyzer) is a method that measures particle diameter and velocity by magnifying and capturing images of flying particles using microscope lenses and analyzing the particle images. Its advantage is that it can measure regardless of whether the particles are spherical/non-spherical, transparent/opaque, or solid/liquid. The measurement accuracy is determined by the spatial resolution of the imaging device and the resolution of the optical system used for imaging. The FtrPIA system includes FtrPIA-TCL, which solves the depth of field problem, and FtrPIA-Endoscope for measuring dense particle groups.

It features high-speed response, wide wavelength compatibility, and a small, lightweight design. By connecting the output terminal of this device to a broadband oscilloscope and directing weak reflected laser light into the input section, the laser pulse emission waveform can be observed in real-time. When there are two laser emissions with a time difference Δt, the FTR PIV analysis software can automatically calculate Δt from the emission waveform data measured with this device and the broadband oscilloscope. Furthermore, since the measured Δt obtained from the emission waveform data is matched one-to-one with the camera image data, accurate PIV calculations can be performed using precise Δt values.
