Free membership registrationTo minimize pressure loss as much as possible, the pulp slurry inserted from the entrance descends in a spiral motion. In the main cone, a high-speed vortex is formed. This vortex causes the heavier rejects to gather on the inner wall, while the good quality fibers accumulate in the center, forming an upward vortex. The connection between the main cone and the secondary separator is a part that is prone to wear due to the swirling of the concentrated rejects, so a steel material with excellent wear resistance is used. The design also allows for easy replacement. This is the functional part that re-separates the rejects that have been concentrated and descended in the main cone. The vortex created by the pressurized water gathers the rejects and outer peripheral parts, which are then expelled through the discharge outlet along with water. Useful fibers accumulate in the center and are discharged through the outlet installed at the bottom of the center for recycling treatment.

Additionally, its surface shape has irregularities, making it a so-called turbulent flow type, which provides excellent performance in both concentration and volume. The impeller does not obstruct the discharge outlet of the pulp, and the large volume of the accept chamber acts as a cushion, making it difficult for pulsation to occur. The cavitation generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller (tip speed 25-30 m/sec) demonstrates the powerful clogging prevention capability of the strong screen plate, preventing clogging even at high concentrations. The machine's flat shape and the small volume of the primary chamber with the impeller compared to the area of the screen plate mean that less energy is required for the impeller's agitation. The powerful shear force generated by the structure of the impeller and its high-speed rotation promotes the disintegration of undispersed pulp, resulting in a smaller tail volume.
