Okugi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a small factory specializing in wire cut electrical discharge machining, commonly used in mold manufacturing, for parts processing. We have accumulated the conditions for high-precision metal processing through wire cut electrical discharge machining developed in mold manufacturing, and have applied this technology to enhance our parts processing capabilities. Naturally, unlike mold manufacturing, parts processing must accommodate various materials, so we continuously accumulate processing conditions. Additionally, we have introduced machines capable of processing with a wire diameter of 0.03mm, allowing us to work with various materials and thicknesses. Okugi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. specializes in ultra-fine wire cut electrical discharge machining at the micron level. "Wire cut electrical discharge machining" is a melting process performed non-contact by flowing current through a wire thinner than a human hair, creating a discharge phenomenon between the wire and a conductive workpiece such as metal. At Okugi Manufacturing, we offer "precision wire cutting processing." Starting with metal press processing, we have been creating molds and conducting press processing for many years. Utilizing our mold processing technology, we specialize in ultra-fine and precision processing with wire cutting machines. We have extensive experience in mold component processing and fine product processing, and we possess various data. We can handle processing for watch-related modules below 0.1, difficult-to-process materials, and slit processing of approximately 0.035mm. • Processing Contract

For many years, we have been producing molds for pp sheet nameplates and performing automatic cutting processes. The products are made of approximately 0.4 mm thick pc material, and we can handle mass production of about 100,000 units per month.

This is a semicircular shape processed by wire cutting with a 0.05 mm oil surface. The diameter is 0.268 mm, the depth is 0.134 mm, and the dimensional tolerance is less than 2 μm. It is used in bearings, and each piece is delivered with a measurement sheet attached. The measurement magnification is 100 times.

The two pieces below are made with 0.02 wire, one done with the first cut and the other with finishing processing. The one above is finished with 0.04, and the one below is finished with 0.03. With this thickness of the plate, a width of up to 0.03 is possible.

A jig was created, and since there was no approach, it was processed with a full circumference wire. The water wire cutting process, including the central blade processing and outer circumference processing, took about 50 hours in total.

• Other processing machines

Under normal conditions, there is no processing for 10mm. However, with our expertise, we have created processing conditions that reduce corner rounding and enable the processing of thick plates.
