We would like to introduce a case where we received a request from a fiber machinery manufacturer to produce and deliver a circular blade for cutting cushioning material for packaging all at once. Since the workpiece was made of thick kraft paper, we arranged the saw blades in a V-shape to reduce the resistance on the blades compared to a straight alignment, thereby improving the penetration into the workpiece. We would like to introduce a case study in response to the inquiry regarding the high wear rate and frequent blade replacements of existing circular blades when cutting rolls of copper foil film at various stages of processing. We propose a carbide circular blade made from ultra-fine particle alloy, featuring a double-edged design. By altering the cutting angle at the start and the angle at the blade's base, we have reduced the impact on cutting performance even as the blade wears, enabling stable cutting even with composite materials. As a result, we have achieved more than double the lifespan compared to conventional blades, thereby reducing the frequency of replacements. We received an order for round blades for slitting processing for food protection sheets, and we would like to introduce a case we produced. After much trial and error, we decided to use round blades for this slitting process and opted for carbide materials to enhance durability compared to conventional methods. Considering the installation dimensions of the machine and the size of the slits, the final diameter was reduced to less than 20mm.
