Our goal is to extend the shelf life of packaged food while providing safety and hygiene. Sustainability has now become a new focal point. As the world follows a path of population growth, the management of limited resources has become increasingly important. While the value of plastic is being re-evaluated, we also need to consider the value of the contents within the packaging. We aim to spread the awareness that the packaging itself also holds value. The packaging forms we propose that contribute to extending shelf life ultimately lead to a reduction in food waste. Furthermore, as an alternative to plastic, we have developed "Paperboard," a paper-based packaging material that can be used with deep-drawing packaging machines and tray sealers.
