Mitsuju Resin Co., Ltd. has introduced a water jet cutter that cuts and processes various materials with ultra-high water pressure, and has started to undertake the processing of test parts for various aircraft. As a result, the number of clients receiving orders through word of mouth has now reached 600 companies. They are also involved in Boeing's new medium-sized jet passenger aircraft B787 and Japan's first jet passenger aircraft project "MRJ."

Sanju Resin Co., Ltd. is constructing a new factory in Suzuka City to accommodate the increase in orders for aluminum processing used in pleasure boat hulls, in addition to carbon fiber for aircraft. The latest water jet cutter processing machines will be installed. The factory will also handle carbon fiber for the small jet passenger aircraft "MRJ" being developed by Mitsubishi Aircraft, as well as the processing of aluminum components used in Toyota's pleasure boats.

Mitsui Resin Co., Ltd. has gained expertise in cutting carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) using water jet cutting machines, successfully receiving orders for prototypes and small lots of various parts, including those for racing motorcycles. They have also effortlessly processed large and complex parts that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries struggled with, securing orders for mass-produced components. The advantages of water jet cutting machines include processing speed. Additionally, while conventional diamond tools wear out quickly and require replacement, water jets do not need replacement and are less likely to scatter chips.
