<Case Information> Within three weeks, a spherical R-shaped component for automotive advanced development was needed. Although it was expected to take about four weeks for the usual delivery of shaped processed products, it was completed in two weeks. Due to the undercut of the spherical R-shaped part (the backside viewed from the top, which is the shaded area), it could not be processed with commercially available tools. We would like to introduce a processing example of an "aluminum round chamber" incorporated into semiconductor manufacturing equipment and vacuum deposition devices. The processing method involves machining from A7075 aluminum alloy through complete cutting, with a product size of φ450×300mm.
