The LKB is a butterfly valve suitable for stainless steel sanitary piping, available in both manual and automatic operation specifications. The LKB has a remote control specification using an actuator and a manual operation specification with a handle. The actuator is available in three types: normally closed (NC), normally open (NO), and air-operated for both opening and closing. The actuator is designed to convert the vertical movement of the piston into a 90° rotation of the spindle shaft. It is also designed to increase torque while the valve disk is in contact with the sealing ring. The standard manual operation handle has a mechanism that locks in each position for opening, closing, and two intermediate points. The handles for DN125 and DN150 sizes also have two intermediate positions for flow adjustment during opening and closing.

The "Leak Detection Butterfly Valve" not only prevents the mixing of different fluids but also helps in preventing cross-contamination and reduces the burden and cost of maintenance through its double-seat butterfly valve design. Conventional butterfly valves controlled opening and closing with a single disc, whereas this design features a double seat integrated with a chamber in between (double block and bleed), making shut-off and leak detection easier.
