In 2005, we, Maruju, integrated our traditional headquarters factory and second factory, constructing a new office building and factory on a single site. The concept we set forth for this new beginning was the Digital IT Factory, utilizing information technology. Data created by computers connects with machines through information networks, allowing products to be processed continuously, accurately, and efficiently. Along with the development of IT that made this production system possible, we established a foundation for high-level manufacturing that not only involves mere information transmission but also leverages robust human networks for information exchange and the intelligence of the creators. Amidst the call for "next-generation manufacturing," we believe that new processing know-how and production systems emerge from a wealth of past experiences. To meet our customers' needs, we consistently engage in high-level manufacturing while striving to enhance the technological foundation accumulated as intellectual property.
