It is one of the few Japanese companies based in the United States that owns a production facility in Mexico, specializing in everything from prototyping to mass production of metal and plastic molded parts, as well as OEM assembly. -- History -- 1995: Established under the name KYOEI USA, Inc. as a subsidiary of Kyoei Print Technology Co., Ltd. 2000: Established a prototyping department. 2002: Started mass production of metal press processing. 2003: Changed company name to AOI TECHNO INC. and became independent from Kyoei Print Technology Co., Ltd. 2006: Established AOI INDUSTRIES MEXICO factory in Tijuana, Mexico. 2007: Acquired a plastic molding company (Anaheim USA) as an asset. 2007: Relocated the plastic division to the Mexico factory. 2009: Established a new silk printing division. 2010: Started OEM assembly business. 2013: Established an automatic powder coating line. -- ISO Certification Status -- ISO9002 Certification Oct. 1998 Upgraded to ISO9001-2000 Nov. 2003
