Although we were well-versed in piston rings, the lack of technology and know-how regarding camshafts made new development nothing short of a risk for our company. However, in response to our hesitant answer, Mr. Nagpur, the president of Cummins India, offered, "We will cover the development costs." Thus, applying the technology of elliptical machining, the camshaft machining dedicated machine was born. Our past achievements have been recognized, and we have received development requests from both domestic and international sources. The camshaft dedicated machine, which started for generators for the Indian trading company, has now expanded widely to applications for ships and passenger cars.
