MacuTape uses a silicone-based adhesive. It allows for room temperature bonding and adheres very well to the uneven patterns of the substrate. It is used for various applications such as masking during partial plating, preventing liquid intrusion during terminal plating, editing TAB tape, and protecting components.

Under this new law, major automotive manufacturers worldwide have expressed their intention to limit or prohibit the use of hexavalent chromium in surface treatments and chemical conversion coatings. ZinKlad is supplied through a global network of Approved Applicators, which are audited by MacDermid and handle the most advanced plating and chemical treatments. ZinKlad plating is a zinc-based plating, topcoat, and lubricant developed to enhance corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and achieve controlled torque tightening.
