This is a simple hot melt coating device with a tank-integrated design. The application time can be set using a timer (in 0.01-second increments), allowing for arbitrary control of the coating amount. It can be used with a 100VAC power supply, making it suitable for experimental machines and small-lot production. The application nozzle can also be selected according to your requirements.

By reducing the number of PUR supply cycles and the opening and closing cycles of the feed lid, we can suppress the reaction of the adhesive. Additionally, the hopper is designed as a cylindrical shape with internal coating processing, making it easy to clean the inside of the hopper, and it is a specialized applicator for PUR that simplifies the adhesive flow path to the utmost limit. Depending on the specifications, it can also accommodate two pumps. The electrical control uses domestically available components, allowing for clear and rapid response even in the event of trouble.

The hot melt applicator, which had a malfunctioning circuit board that the manufacturer could not address, was still in a usable condition, so we modified the electrical control unit with domestically sourced components. To apply a precise amount of commercially available 330ml sealant, the cartridge is pressurized with an air cylinder and delivered to the gear pump, where the measured application is performed. The application head uses a sack-back method, ensuring a clean cut at the end of the application.

It was common practice to apply hot melt coating by making contact with the tip of a slot coater head. We have successfully developed a non-contact surface coating head that overturns this common practice. By using a non-contact method, damage (such as scratches) to the substrate does not occur, resulting in significantly improved product finish.

By densely arranging the modules and minimizing the distance from the valve seat to the lip tip, we have improved the intermittent performance at high speeds. Since the valve's ON/OFF does not use electricity or air, piping and wiring are unnecessary. It has been manufactured as a head for supplying reaction-type PUR roll coaters. It is designed to be completely sealed, considering the use of reaction-type hot melt, and is easy to disassemble and clean.

We have installed a module that allows for flow rate adjustment to achieve uniform film thickness in the width direction for hot melt surface coating. The design also ensures that the pressure inside the extruder is even, allowing for uniform film thickness in wide surface coating. To mitigate risks, many users keep various spare parts on hand, but when it comes to electrical issues, the current situation is that they often rely on the manufacturer. By adopting a large-diameter piston rod and a large-diameter seat, we have made it possible to handle high-viscosity materials that were difficult to supply with conventional hot melt heads. The nozzle diameter can also be selected as needed, allowing for various adaptations based on the required specifications. We have manufactured a compact type PUR melter based on requests from our users. To ensure stable use of PUR, which is a moisture-curing hot melt, regular maintenance is important. Therefore, we designed the hopper with a shape that has no irregularities to facilitate easy maintenance. Additionally, we simplified the flow path of the hot melt as much as possible. We have also ensured sufficient melting capacity, and we have received high praise from our users. If there are any other requests, we have the know-how to manufacture medium and large PUR melters, and we will produce them according to the necessary supply pump and temperature control channel requirements.

It is compatible with PUR and POR, and coloring of hot melt adhesives is also possible. Tank sizes can be manufactured from approximately 2 to 30 liters. Of course, it also serves as a standard hot melt applicator. It is convenient for mixing and coloring adhesives in small batches. The cylindrical tank structure makes it easy to clean and prevents any buildup.
