We would like to introduce an example of process improvement in a food factory using our custom drum mixer with detachable containers. It was custom-designed and manufactured for liquid mixing in a 200L drum. Typically, a liquid drum shaker is used for mixing liquids in drums. We conducted a seasoning test for sliced pork neck meat and offal using the Tumbler Mini, TMCS-36S, and would like to share the results. This time, we placed 12 kg into a 36L container and tested whether the sauce would coat the meat well. After one minute, the meat, which was still frozen, had not broken apart and was somewhat clumped together, but after two minutes, it had loosened to some extent and the sauce was evenly distributed. It was noted that any areas that were slightly lacking could be easily loosened by hand, making the process much easier than doing everything manually, which received positive feedback. I would like to introduce the testing of the mixer. Since there is nothing in the container, the advantage is that there is a low risk of contamination and it does not damage the raw materials. However, once the materials aggregate and adhere to the container walls, it is difficult to resolve that issue. Currently, we are conducting tests at the request of our customers, but the lid part is not mixing well. Therefore, we are considering an approach to coat or process the inner surface of the container to make it less likely for the powder to adhere. By performing a blast treatment on the stainless steel surface and intentionally making it rough, we can prevent adhesion. A customer who prepares a large amount of fried chicken by hand every day requested a test, saying, "I want to make my daily tasks easier." We placed about 15 kg of chicken and sauce into a 36L container of the "Tumbler Mini" and mixed it for 1 minute. Since it mixed without any issues, we added potato starch.
