The part referred to as the core is at the center of the ball and is made of rubber material, but some manufacturers use the latest materials such as "resin," which is used in dental treatments, or "graphene," which is said to be stronger than diamond. The differences in materials affect the rebound and other characteristics, so it varies according to each manufacturer's ball. The core and the outer part have different roles; the inner core is more involved during big shots, while the outer part is more related to small shots, so even a single golf ball can significantly impact play.
