Operation of Fiber Laser Welding Technology We have achieved fine welding joints between stainless steel pipe SUS304 and solid stainless steel WPB304. The tensile strength of the weld is 40 lbf, while the tensile strength of the pipe alone (19TW) is 60 lbf. Free membership registrationKaneko Medix has achieved stable manufacturing of SUS304 ultra-fine cannulas with diameters of φ0.18×φ0.09 (34G). In particular, the issue of internal surface closure defects has been improved after about one year since the start of manufacturing experiments, and it is now possible to stably produce a grinding angle of Min10° with a total length of up to 12mm. Additionally, both ends can be finished with flat polishing, making them suitable for subcutaneous drug injection fields such as insulin administration.
