We will hold a seminar on practical applications in the forefront of technical document translation. Many people are interested in maximizing productivity in translation and writing through the use of generative AI, represented by ChatGPT. At Human Science, we focus on the potential of using ChatGPT as a translation and checking tool, alongside specialists in multilingual translation including English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. How can it be utilized for evaluating translation quality and as a checking tool in practical multilingual translations such as manuals and help documents? Using the LLM proofreading tool developed by Human Science, we conducted an initiative to have ChatGPT proofread and evaluate translations in six languages, comparing the results with evaluations by human translators. In this seminar, we will introduce our efforts to have ChatGPT proofread and evaluate translations in six languages using the LLM proofreading tool.
