[Case Study on Quality Evaluation of Machine Translation (Automatic Translation) Engines] Cross Language Co., Ltd.
A case where we can understand objective evaluations and use them to consider future development policies!
We would like to introduce a case study on quality evaluation of the machine translation (automatic translation) engine from Cross Language Inc. The company was conducting quality evaluations of its machine translation engine in-house, but it was quite labor-intensive to evaluate while simultaneously developing the engine. We have received feedback stating, "The results of third-party evaluations have a significant impact internally and could be useful for considering development policies." 【Challenges】 - Conducting quality evaluations in-house while developing the product is labor-intensive. - To lend credibility to the evaluations, we want objective evaluation results from a neutral standpoint, rather than relying on "our own research." - We would like to implement objective evaluations by outsourcing the selection of source texts and the evaluation of translations, rather than using our own criteria. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
