[Construction Example] Solving malfunctions and deformation caused by heat when transporting precision machinery by sea.

We use ThermoBarrier S as packaging material for maritime transport. Instead of using standard containers, we pack the products in specially designed large wooden boxes for sea transport. The products being transported are precision machinery that is sensitive to heat, and since they may pass through the equator, we package them with ThermoBarrier S and additionally wrap the large wooden boxes in ThermoBarrier S for transport. Originally, we were able to transport them without any issues up until about 3 to 4 years ago, but we started experiencing malfunctions and deformations due to heat. Therefore, we began using ThermoBarrier S as packaging material, and we have not encountered any problems since. Now, we use "ThermoBarrier S" as packaging and heat insulation material during maritime transport.

Originally, the Sky Sheet is used as a sky method installed on top of a corrugated roof, but in some cases, it is used differently, so we would like to introduce such an example. Building usage: Temporary toilet heat insulation at a construction site Construction site: Shizuoka Prefecture Product used: Thermo Barrier Sky Installation location: Two-unit temporary toilet Construction period: August 2022 Construction days: 0.5 days It was installed as a heat countermeasure for a temporary toilet at a site office with a construction period of about 8 months. Since it is a rental item, caulking was not used; instead, the overlapping parts were made larger to prevent water intrusion, and finished with glass cloth aluminum tape. In addition to heat countermeasures, we also expect benefits during the winter.
