While maintaining the properties of super high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) such as abrasion resistance and sliding properties, it is anticipated to improve co-crystallization and durability. By adding it to paints, rubber, grease, and resins, improvements in slip properties and sound absorption are expected. "HiGlide" is a super high molecular weight polyethylene that improves the content and adhesion when added to materials through surface modification. By imparting hydrophilicity through surface modification, it significantly enhances dispersibility, content, and adhesion compared to conventional super high molecular weight PE.
